P8100 Soft-Sided Airline Pet Carrier Backpack | Expandable Foldable Travel Bag

Product description

More room when your pet needs it. Less bulk when you do not.

The P8100 is a soft-sided pet carrier backpack designed for comfortable travel with cats and small dogs. Its two-way expandable design provides additional resting space when opened, while the carrier folds down to just 6 cm thick for easier storage between trips.

Large mesh ventilation panels support airflow and visibility throughout the carrier. Dual zipper pulls can be secured together with a lobster-clasp fastener, helping prevent curious pets from pushing the zippers open while travelling.

Wide, padded shoulder straps make the carrier more comfortable to carry, while the rear luggage sleeve slides over a suitcase handle for easier movement through airports and stations.

Choosing the correct size

The 0–8 kg recommendation refers to the carrier’s product fit range. Your pet should also have enough room to stand, turn around and lie down comfortably.

Before travelling, measure your pet and calculate the combined weight of your pet and the 1.8 kg carrier. Many European airlines apply their cabin weight limit to the pet and carrier together.

Airlines to check before booking

The P8100 may be relevant for travellers considering the following airlines, depending on the current route, aircraft, cabin, fare and pet policy:

• Lufthansa

• Eurowings

• Discover Airlines

• Condor

• ITA Airways

• SWISS

• Austrian Airlines

• Finnair

• Aegean Airlines

• Brussels Airlines

The carrier’s stated height is 24 cm, while several airlines publish a 23 cm limit. A soft-sided carrier may flex, but flexibility does not guarantee acceptance at check-in.

Always check the airline’s current carrier dimensions, combined weight limit and route restrictions before booking and again before departure. Airline policies can change, and final acceptance rests with the airline and its airport staff.
